The Alam Anda has been an insider tip for many years and today it almost has a cult status.
At the moment the hotel consists of 10 bungalows, 2 Losmen, the double bungalow Ambu Ambu and the villa Lumba Lumba.
The perfect holiday – the Alam Anda Dive and Spa Resort has the motto:
"Our guests are our friends. We wish to indulge them in all aspects: in diving, culturally, culinary and at the wellness level - bodily.“
Because of this there is, for example, an hour traditional Balinese massage included. in each 5 day diving package.
Location: On the north east coast of Bali, hidden behind coconut and orange plantations, far away from all other tourists our ALAM ANDA DIVE AND SPA RESORT lies directly by the sea.
Here it is possible to still find the original Bali with it’s culture and the typical living habits of it’s people.
On the almost empty beaches you might occasionally meet a fisherman or children playing – but no sign of tourists. This approx. 2 hectare large palm garden, with hundreds of shady coconut and Lontar palm trees, Kambodjas, Eucalyptus and banana trees is the fulfilled dream of a German architect.
"Wasting lots of space", this 420m long area on the coast has accommodation for only a maximum of 30 guests in the ten bungalows, two Losmen, the double bungalow Ambu Ambu and the villa Lumba Lumba.
Transfer: The two hour drive from the airport in Denpasar to Alam Anda – past rice terraces, temples and small villages - is an ideal opportunity to receive a first impression of the beautiful landscape and the diverse culture of Bali.
Miscellaneous: The Alam Anda was built by Uwe Siegfriedsen. Uwe and his crew are responsible for the Alam Anda receiving cult status during the last 10 years.

We have been in the tourist branch for almost 20 years and have seen and experienced many things. All this experience of ours is now going into Alam Anda.
We want to offer you the perfect holiday. This is what we are working for each day. We wish to continue and improve that which Uwe and his crew have created. Uwe is retiring from the daily business of running the hotel. He will be living directly next door in his villa Melamun (Villa Baliwood) and will be helping us with his advice from behind the scenes.
'His' regular customer won’t have to do without him either. He is more than happy to come over for a chat.

Ten bungalows - all with sea view. Generous spaced out, without any frills, therefore purely natural. Built from palm wood, mahogany and bamboo and thatched with the traditional Alang Alang grass, even the varnish is natural. 40 m² of comfort, built on stilts. The combined living room/bedroom is exclusively furnished with bamboo and the bathroom, an airy 10m² in marble and wonderfully clean.
With local shower, warm and cold but ……..have you ever heard of the „Mandi“?. Extra shower freshness Asian style is obtained by scooping water from a basin.
The conventional shape of the room, copied from Sumatra’s old building experts, makes use of the sea breeze as air conditioning and the 2m x 2m secluded cushioned “cuddle” area on the veranda is a dream invitation and not just for honeymooners.
Double bungalow Ambu Ambu
The Duble Bungalow Ambu Ambu - Here too: the most comfortable air conditioning in the world is produced by the sea breeze circulating through three openings just under the roof.
Each room has its own open bathroom with warm water shower. The whole house is furnished with rattan furniture: cupboards, sideboards, armchairs and beds with mosquito nets. The walls are decorated with Balinese paintings and carvings.

In the "Master Bed Room" there is a huge double bed. The other room can be used as a bedroom, living room or study. It is furnished with two sofas which can be arranged as two single or one double bed as required.
A small room respectively connects or divides these two rooms. In here there is in addition to a further cupboard a small pantry with sink, oven and fridge.
The are two sun loungers in the garden and, as you would expect in paradise, also two hammocks. The living / dining room is positioned on the side of the building towards the sea. It is open on three sides and contains a marble/rattan dining table and a 2m x 2m cushioned “cuddle” area.
